I'm beginning to think that all the people I watch on YouTube are at least as clueless as I am.
I waste a lot of time watching Youtube and should be doing things. My addiction is to YouTube motivational videos. I spend all day watching those things and I'm wasting my time. They are just telling us what we want to hear and it's the same old stuff anyway. I need to get back to reading more.

I bought a laptop I want to use at the Bitcoin Convention next year.
It was contaminated with Windows. I've been spending hours getting Linux Mint to work on it.
I was looking for something I could run Bitcoin Core and Theta on. I'll have to add memory and a large hard drive but I'm happy with it.
I ate at Perkins which is always good. The check engine light stayed off. I'm happy.
I quit my job at the food pantry and immediately got a job at the rec center.
I was stressing out there so I quit. I think my new job will be a lot better. It will be a lot of cleaning and such. I think I'll be happier there.
I keep watching silver and gold because I think they'll go in the opposite direction of the dollar. I've been betting about $10 a week in options. I keep losing because it's rigged. I just can't seem to make money on options. I should just find a way to bet against the dollar, itself.

I've been linking a lot of videos without writing much, lately. I really haven't had much to say.
I started a new job at "New Opportunities". It's a food pantry and clothing store.
I bought a printer for $5.00 yesterday. I think I can get it running by adding ink to it. I ordered a cartridge from Amazon. It'll get here by Wednesday. it's a nice printer. If I get it running I'll use it in the basement with the Windows computer.
I need to get a better laptop for my trip to Nashville next July. I'm going to a convention for Bitcoin.
Changing the topic, it's cold, here today. It's supposed to snow but so far only little pellets have come down.
I was going to mulch my leaves today but it's too cold. It should warm up soon.

Today is a big day at the food pantry. The mobile food pantry is coming today. We'll have dozens of cars lined up to pick up food. They will be lined up around the block. I'll be in the middle of things.
On the third Wednesday of every other month we have the truck come; and we give out food in mass.
It's raining a bit and I'm on my bicycle because my cars starter doesn't work.
On that note I'll find a YouTube video.
I've been buying options on silver miners (silj) for several months, now. It moved almost a dollar last Friday. If it keeps moving I'll clean up financially. If it moves by five dollars I'll be ahead by thousands of dollars.
If it happens I'll first pay for my trip to Nashville next July. Then I'll double down on my bets. I hope to end up with a lot of Bitcoin.
I listen to Michael Saylor when he talks about Bitcoin on YouTube. I think I'll leave one of his interviews here.
I got up at 6:00 A.M. and started to go to breakfast. The car didn't start. I'm sure that the starter is dead. It's Saturday so the car shops are closed. I ordered a starter from Amazon and I'll take care of it Monday.

I started writing my book on a desktop computer's files and it showed up on my Microsoft computer as well. I may have to handwrite it for privacy.

Over yesterday afternoon and last night, we had 1.2 inches of rain. The harvest is stopped until the ground dries out. At least it settled the dust. I think they'll be back in the fields tomorrow.
A bunch of fruit flies are bothering me. I'll hose them down with Raid.
Now, they're talking about making Trump the speaker of the House. I hope they do: it's a freakshow anyway.

A lot has happened since I last posted.
1. I went on the Honor Flight to Washington D.C. It was great that I only found one name on the wall. We all called him Jose Gonzalas but it turned out he was Roberto Gonzalas.
2. I went to see Tim Scott (a presidential candidate) in Fort Dodge. I got to ask him a question about making can redemptions, national.
3. I cleaned up the yard and house last week. It looks a lot better.

The guy I was going to give my chicken wire to came by and wanted my extra bicycle. I asked $45 for the bike.
I needed the front and side of the building to be cleaned up. The grass was over-growing everything. He wasted no time in pulling weeds and grass. It really looks nice but I had to barter away $30 to get it done.
Right now, I'm waiting for him to come and pick up the bike. I might not see him until tomorrow. Maybe I'll have to find something else to do so he can barter labor for the rest of the bike.

I'm ahead about $100; at the same time at the last city-wide garage sale, I was ahead around $1000. I feel that people simply don't have much money due to inflation. Maybe it's me being negative, but I find myself taking smaller sums of money for good things. I just feel that people don't have much money to spend.
I couldn't even give away some gardening stuff like chicken wire and pots for plants. People just don't have money.

Silver took a dive today. Apparently, it had something to do with the dollar moving up because something happened in China to move the Yuan down. As usual, I'm on the wrong side. I've got a few call options on junior silver miners. I can't seem to win.
One of my video selections on YouTube was taken down. I don't know which one it was or I would load it again.

It's Sunday and I don't have much to do.
Dr. Steve Turley thinks the deep state will assassinate Trump. I think they have been after him for years. I don't see why now is any different.

Today was payday (Social Security) for me. I paid my rent and went to Carroll, Iowa to put money in my credit union While I was there I washed my big rug at a laundromat. It came out nice.
I did two lessons this morning for National Able. That's a program that helps poor old people. I fit right in.
I only make minimum wage, working for them. That's $7.35/hr. in Iowa. In California, it's $16.00/hr. A little more money is all that I need.
I would like to go to Nashville next October to attend the Bitcoin Conference. I'm hoping to make headway with finding my lost Bitcoins. I should find some people who go back to 2010 as well as me.

I could also network about working with Linux and Bitcoin.

I've got a busy day ahead of me. First, The cleaning lady is coming around 8:00 AM. Then I have an online class. At 1:00 I have a job interview. Then I go to Fort Dodge for a luncheon.
I've been cleaning the house like crazy; just so the cleaner doesn't have to do too much.
At eight it will be just go-go-go all day. I need to keep busy so I don't get too lazy.

I'll have a cleaning lady come tomorrow, so today I have to clean the refrigerator and microwave. The microwave went easily but the refrigerator is a challenge.
I came back to blogging after cleaning the fridge and microwave. It took a while. After Samantha is done with cleaning I have to get to work on weed-wacking. Maintaining a house is a big hassle. It's not worth it. If it wasn't for possible equity gains, I don't see any advantage over an apartment.

More troubles with the new computer. I got it up to 32 gig on memory and it quits. The display quits. I got it working with 28 gig but that seems to be the limit. I might have to replace the power supply; which I could.
I've got a class on Likened today. I need to straighten it up. At some time I said that I was a financial advisor but I'm not licensed. I could probably do as well as anyone but I wouldn't want the responsibility. People need to do their own research.

I was about 10 minutes late from swimming to go online for the National Able lesson about Microsoft Office, today. I missed out on making an hour's pay.

I'm still trying to find my Bitcoins (using chat-gpt4). I'm getting nowhere. It's bad to lose your private key and the number I have doesn't seem to be one. I'll keep trying. Everyone thinks it's just one of my hallucinations. I still don't think so.

It turned out that I created the problem with the computer.
I added a couple of memory sticks. You have to install them correctly for them to work right. I had the new ones in the wrong slots. I took the old memory stick out and put the new ones in the right slots and it worked.
I'm back to trying to get my Bitcoin number working. I'm making some progress. It turned ou that the number I'm using was the wrong type. It's a hexadecimal number and I need something else. I have another number I need to work with.

I was trying to load Office 365 and my computer quit. I haven't had anything to do with Windows for 20 or 30 years. Maybe it's karma. I've always badmouthed Windows and now it's getting back at me. I have a weekend to straighten it out.
I got a bill from the "New 49ers". It's a gold miner club in Northern California. I tried to sell my membership and they put me on the inactive list. I won't have to pay the bill; I just need to get it sold. That's easier said than done.

Tonight, I'm trying to get my Bitcoin Core to be unencrypted. I tried to encrypt it and then unencrypt it to get it to load my private key.
I don't know if I can get it going but I must try. I just loaded Grammarly, and it interferes with my writing; at least it corrects my spelling, which I need help with.
I doubt if it will help me get viewers since I'm probably blocked anyway.
I wonder if it could help me with syntax on Bitcoin core. I'm having a lot of trouble with that. I've been struggling for hours with that.

I went to Des Moines yesterday to attend a opening of the Iowa headquarters of the Trump campaign.
I left a few hours early so I could surf the net at a Starbucks.
It was a super hot day and my cars air conditioner didn't work so I was super sweaty. At Starbucks I spilled a carmel latte all over myself I bought some clothes at Target to replace the sweaty, Latte soaked ones.
The rally was something of a bust. We waited for Trump for a couple of hours in a hot building. We were all hot and sweaty so I fit right in.
By the time I got back home I was exhaused and I slept like a baby.

Ragbrai is coming to Storm Lake tomorrow. I'm going to take my extra bike there and see if I can sell it. With 10,000 or more bike riders, someone should need another one. I think I'll put something about the Ragbrai trip between Storm Lake and Carroll here.
Ragbrai (the bicycle ride across Iowa) and the fair are blending together this year. Ragrai doesn't go thru Sac City this year. It does go thru Lake View so I'll go there.
I'll be trying to sell the extra bike at both places. I should be able to get $100 for it.

I had 2 teeth extracted yesterday. I didn't feel like blogging after that. I'm still feeling a little woozy.

There is news, today, that Russia will be backing a gold-backed currency. That should help gold and silver prices. I have a few options on junior silver miners.

I went to church in Omaha, today. It's a 2 hour drive.
The main reason I went there was because there are a couple of very attractive young ladies who are also Chistian Sciencetis, there. I got into an argument with one about politics. It was my fault but I'm glad I found out how liberal they are so I can quit wasting my time with them.
I sold all of my guns yesterday. Now I'm apparently defenseless. I'll rely on God to provide me with the neccessary weapons for whatever comes up.

I'm trying to get analyatics actually working with my blog. I have no idea what I'm doing but it's strange that I only seem to get 2 viewers a day but then I se e hundreds showing up in another place. I don't know what is going on.
Living in Iowa, I'm bound to talk with presidental candidates. I'm going to push raising the redemtion price for cans and bottles and promoting Bitcoin.
I consider the bottle redemtion increase to be important to impoverished people who have no other income and Bitcoin is essential for the future.

I was mowing to lawn today and I ran out of battery power. I have a baattery powered electric mower and it runs out of power before I get the lawn done. I'll finish it tomorrow.

I was just watching something on Youtube where guys are saying that the difference between a good life and a wasted life is the disipline to actually do things.
I feel that I need to get up early in the morning and get some exercise and work the rest of the day doing constructive things. I'm just not getting things done. I'm going to try to link the video that is distracting me now.

It turned out that the stand down in Mankato won't have a dentist so I won't go there. I'll save me about 5 hours of driving. It would have been worth it since it would have saved me about $250 in dental bills.
I'm thinking about having a yard sale to drum up the money to remove that tooth. If I can sell some expensive things that would work. I made about $1200 in the last sale. It went to bills and I saved some. I guess I spent quite a bit on a bicycle as well.
It should rain tomorrow so I'll figure on having the sale Saturday. I would like to go to Omaha Sunday. We'll see.

I loaded another Jordan Peterson interview. He interviews a guy named Metaxas who wrote a book about World War II martyr who opposed the Nazis while in Germany. Metaxas compared what is happening in the U.S. now with what happened in Nazi Germany in the thirties.
On a different topic; I spent three hours today getting Fitbit to work. When I got it working I found that I'm expected to log every time I exercise or drink water. My whole day was spent trying to get computer passwords working and making unanswered phone calls. That's what life is like in the 21st century.

We're finally getting some rain. The grass was drying up. I think it's in time for the corn. It was starting to look bad for the crop.

I went to Lake View twice today. The first time was to have breakfast at Miltons on Main and the second time I had lunch at a Mexican restuarant. I need to cut back on my dining out; I can't afford it.
I took my new bicycle for a spin today. I really like it. It's much lighter than my old one and it's more fun to ride. I'll sell the old one at a garage sale this weekend.
I noticed that half of the videos I shared from Youtube were censored. Most if not all turned out to be true. We live in a communist country. I think we're a vassel country of communist China. This will probably be removed.

It's a channel on Youtube that features a guy who buys and fixes up cars and trucks that have been abandoned for years. He then drives them home; which is likely to be hundreds of miles away. It's fun to see how he handles problem after problem.
He also races his resurected rides at races where it's normal to drive old cars. One of the races he was in had a requirement that nobody could spend more that $3000 for their ride. Maybe I could get involved with this sort of thing. It would be fun and maybe not cost much.

I went to a parade today. It was some fun. They threw a lot of candy at me but I ignored it since I'm diabetic.
I picked up a bicycle from a repair shop in Storm Lake today.I's looking good and it rode well. It cost me $180 but did a good job. Now I've got 2 bicycles. I'll sell the one I don't like so much in a garage sale. Maybe next week.
I might get a job as an IT tech, we'll see. I sent off my resume.

I fixed the vacumn cleaner. The belt broke when I sucked up a venitian blind string. The hardware store didn't have the belt so I ordered it from Amazon.
I had a large quanity of dead flies to vacumn up. It turned out that they were coming from the drains. Someone told me to pore boiling water down the drains because flies tend to breed there. It worked; the fly population plummeted but I had to get rid of the dead ones. Hench the broken vacumn.
I got some exercise at the Rec Center. It's an old school buiding and I climb the stairs for exercise. It's about time that I get back to doing that.

I went to a dentist in Sioux City today to have a tooth examined for a root canal.
It turned out that I could either have it extracted or have a root canal. I decided to have it extracted. It only costs around $200 to extract it and it costs $2000 for a root canal. I'll just go the cheap route.
I've got a bicycle in a repair shop in Storm Lake. It should be done by now. I'll call them tomorrow and find out how it's going.
I also need to find out if I'm getting a job with a government program called National Able. I would love to get an IT certificate and start working for over $20/hr.
So far, I'm still using a bank and a credit union for my bill payments and such. I'm still concerned about bank failures and such but I haven't done anything about it, yet.

I talked with my new counselor this morning. I was more honest about what is going on with me than I have ever been. It's probably stupid on my part.
I quit using Facebook because they sent me a notice that they would be able to search my computers if I used them. Now it's hard to share videos since I don't have access to Facebook. I'll keep an eye open on Youtube for good videos.
It's good to see the Bidens be investigated for corruption. I hope we can clean up the nation.
Tomorrow I get my teeth checked for a root canal. I don't know how I'll pay for it. Maybe I can get it on the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. It'll take months but it's worth it.
I think I'll show another picture (an etching by Malcolm Childers). I want to sell these three etchings. Maybe that would help me with money for my rotten teeth.

It's Sunday I'm watching ALUX again on Youtube. They had 15 inexpensive ways to start making money.
One of them was to start a blog. They also mentioned writing a book. I started one of those as well.
I just don't stick with things. I think I've already tried half of the things they mentioned. I'm just so flaky that I never get things done. My mental illness might be a major part of why this happens.
I get to thinking about things that probably never happened.
I just finished mowing the lawn. Even though it rained last night it's getting dry. I've been watereing the new trees and the garden plus a few flowers in the front. The only place that the grass is growing is where I've been watering.
Tomorrow I should find out if I've got a job. I applied for something called National Able. It's for elderly disabled people to improve themselves. I'm schiztophrenic and 75 so I should qualify. I'll call the lady who had me fill out forms tomorrow and see if they are taking me.

It's been over a year since I've been on blogger. It's time that I get back.
I've always used this more as a journal than anything else; since I can be reasonably certain that nobody will be reading it anyway.
I'm concerned about the long-awaited banking crisis. Tomorrow I'll be transfering my social security deposits to Robinhood. I feel that, that will be safer than a bank. I'll have to make sure that I can use my Robinhood debit card to pay my bills. But I feel safer with them than a bank or credit union.
I'm also starting my garden tomorrow. The ground may still be frozen but I can stake it out. One of the reasons that I wanted to move here was to have a lot of space to put in a large garden.
I'm going to quit my job Monday. Running up and down those stairs has gotten rather old and I'm not making much at it anyway. Time to move on.
I'm going to Jacksonville in a few months to see if I can find my lost Bitcoins. Like everything else about Bitcoin it's a high risk but potentionally immensely profitable proposition. I'm going after the garage sale which I hope will help pay for the trip. Right now I'm thinking about just driving as it appears to cost about the same as flying or taking a bus. I'm going to have to look into flying some more since it seems that going round-trip should be cheaper by plane.
Time to go to the airplane ticket places on the internet.
